Vision Sunday 2026

Pastor Jason Mayfield · February 1, 2026

Overview

We are building on a foundation others laid, and the vision is bigger than our resources. Faith does not wait for abundance. It functions in lack as if it had abundance, because the battle is the Lord’s and He gives it into our hand.

Remember your leaders: we're building

Scripture tells us to remember. “Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the Word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.” In 1952, [a former pastor] took a step of faith and started a church in Saraland, Alabama. He pastored faithfully for 26 years, and in 1978, as he prepared to step away, these were his parting words: “To the membership of the Saraland Assembly of God Church, we have enjoyed laboring in God’s great vineyard. We appreciate all of you who have been faithful to the Lord, to the church, and to us as your pastors.

You have been a blessing to us throughout the years, and we hope that we have been a blessing to you. Our prayer is that the church will always prosper in every way for the Lord. May the grace of God abide with you all. Sincerely, [a former pastor].” As the church stepped into the future under [a former pastor]’s leadership, attendance began to grow, to the point that a relocation became inevitable. In the late 1980s, [a former pastor] challenged the church to do whatever it takes to step into the bold new direction God was leading them. That step of faith led to a new home, 20 acres of land at 907 Shelton Beach Road.

Remember, it’s a whatever-it-takes mentality of faith that will bring results. If everyone does their part, we’ll have victory. We’ve come too far to turn back now. Today, we take another bold look toward what’s next with expectation and hope. Welcome to Vision Sunday 2026.

Come on, you can do better than that. Give Jesus a big praise if you’re excited about the future. Amen. It’s a good day to be in the house of the Lord. It’s a good day to look forward. Amen. And I do want to let you know from the onset here, because this is the question people have on days like today.

No, there will not be a special offering today. There’s no special offering. But y’all didn’t respond, so ushers, be prepared. I am receiving a special offering. They’re more ready than I thought they were. Amen. So we won’t do any special offering today. This also won’t be a typical Sunday. I’m not preaching, though I wish I was. I like to preach. I’m not going to preach, but today’s going to be filled with lots of announcements, lots of information. And I think you’re going to be really excited before the day is over with. This morning when you walked in, there was a card there on your seat that says, “We’re building.”

We’re building. Because here at Saraland Church, we’re building a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church for all people. And today, we’re really going to focus on the idea that we’re building. We’re building. We’re building. And as we talk through all of these initiatives today, I believe the Holy Spirit is going to begin to speak to some of you throughout the morning. And as the Holy Spirit speaks to you, I want you to take a moment with this card to let us know how the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. There’s four items in here. One is that you pray consistently for the church.

I shared a few weeks ago that everything that’s going to happen in our church that’s positive is going to happen through prayer. Can I get a good amen in the house? Also, there’s an option on here to check inviting people. I ran some numbers, and it turns out we actually need to invite over the next six months 600 individuals to this church. That’s what we need to happen over the next six months to see the positive traction growth that we believe is going to take this church to the next level of ministry. Now, that doesn’t mean that 600 people are going to come.

It means that you have to hound six people. Make them feel guilty for not coming to church. Do whatever you got to do. You can bribe them or make them feel guilty. Amen. And hey, I’m fine if you want to take people out for lobster and steak after church. Amen. Also, you can join the team. There are things that we are not announcing this morning that I had full intention of announcing, but when me and Ashleigh sat down, we realized we do not have the manpower to do it today. So, join the team. You can commit to doing that today. And then the last one on here is increasing your generosity.

Increasing your generosity to reach people. Here at Saraland Church, we have a simple philosophy of giving. It is that when you give, ministry happens. You’re actually going to find out a lot of stuff that’s going to be happening today that isn’t going to require any additional fundraising. We’re not adding a spot to the offering envelope. It’s just stuff we’re going to do and we’re going to make it happen. Are you ready to get started? Everybody say amen. All right, let’s start here.

Caring for our neighbors

First of all, I need to let you know something that I have come to realize since I’ve been here and pastoring this church is that there are a lot of hurting people in our area.

There are a lot of hurting people in our area. In fact, I get phone calls. I get text messages. I get knocks on my door throughout the week. And I also get people tapping on my office window. That is not an exaggeration. People looking for help. And they’re doing it because they’re not just hurting, they’re desperately hurting. They’re desperately hurting. And it has become obvious to me that we need a structured program in our church that allows us to care for our community. And I want to share with you the way that we believe the Lord has shown us to do this.

This is something unique. No other church does this particular ministry. This is something that God has just placed inside of the creative insight that’s in Ashleigh and myself. And so I’m ready to share it with you. Are you ready? I want to introduce you to the Neighbor Box. The Neighbor Box. Why is it called the Neighbor Box? Well, because we’re called to love our neighbor. Amen. And so the Neighbor Box is going to be filled with food. And what we’re planning on doing is taking this box, which is a ministry of Saraland Church. And I said, I don’t need it on the front, but it is going to be on the box.

I’m going to slap that logo on something. Amen. I’ll take you to a tattoo parlor after church and get it on you. But the Neighbor Box is going to be filled with food, probably enough to feed a family for upwards of four weeks. We are working with a consultant to help us get this figured out all the way. What I really like about this is that if you turn it around, it’s a little house. And so we envision children taking these home and playing with them after the parents get the food out of them. So it becomes a toy. Amen. Now on the inside, can you help me show the inside?

You’ll see on the inside, it’s nice and green and it looks like fresh food. And we just believe this is a way that we can help families with dignity and honor and respect and make a substantial impact on their life. It won’t be feeding them for a day. It’ll be helping them for a month, help them get on their feet. Amen. Now we have a goal for this this year, and this is a little bit of a stretch goal, but our goal is to do a hundred boxes in 2026. That’s helping a hundred families in 2026. Amen. Now you’re probably wondering, when is this going to start?

And the answer to that is this fall. We’re going to launch this this fall because there is a heaping load of administrative work that has to go into this before we can launch it. But we’re launching the Neighbor Box this fall. We’re going to have somewhere in this church where we’re going to just have a room with nothing but Neighbor Boxes in it. You walk in and all you’re going to see is little houses sitting on the shelf. Amen. How many of you think this is cool? This is good. And as I mentioned, there’s a lot of administrative work that’s going to go into this.

And the reality is we’ve just come to find out that I can only be so available and still do everything that needs to be done. And I might be able to handle one tap on my office window, but when we start getting to three and four, I can’t be pulled out of the zone all the time. And so we have big news this morning, and that news is that our team is growing. Amen. And so we’re introducing to you this morning a pastor of Compassion Ministries. Exciting, right? This person’s going to be helping me to care for the church, but to care for the community, to be in some areas that I can’t always get into.

How many of you know there’s only one of me? But God has many people he can use. And so this morning, I want to introduce that person to you. Would you please put your hands together as Pastor John and Sheila Mosley make their way to the stage this morning? Amen. You guys join me up here. Just a few months ago, we had a young man from Convoy of Hope, which is another one of our missions partners. He came and he greeted you on a Sunday morning. And when we went to lunch, so it’s an interesting connection. He was familiar with me through the ministry that I had done online and traveling.

And so when I called Convoy of Hope, he picked up the phone and he goes, “The Jason Mayfield from the internet?” And I said, “I think so.” And so we hit it off. He was coming down to visit and we went and had coffee. And about five minutes into the conversation, he starts to tell me about his mom and his dad and the ministry that they had had running a Dream Center in our area, which is a local outreach that does compassion and cares for people and takes care of people’s needs. And about five minutes in, it turns out I wasn’t interested in Jance at all. And I started pre-interviewing Pastor John before I had ever met him.

And so we got together towards the end of last year. You’ve probably seen these two floating around here a little stealthily, and they’re going to be less stealth moving forward from today. They’ve been under the radar, but they’re going to be stepping into this role. I’ve been so encouraged by both of you. I’ve been so grateful to have both of you near me, around me. I already feel relief in Jesus’ name. So we’ll have a hundred things for you on a dry erase board in the back when today’s over. But I want to take a moment and commission the two of you to ministry this day.

Can I have you come up with those Bibles? We have Bibles for each of you. And inside of these Bibles are a personal note from me written on paper, and Makala filled out the dedication page. ‘Cause once you read my personal note, you’ll realize that you didn’t want that permanently marked in your Bible. Amen. So I would like to commission you this day. “Be it known that this first day of February, 2026, I do hereby formally commission Pastor John Mosley as an associate pastor of Saraland Church, a minister extraordinary and plenipotentiary. By this commission, he is authorized to represent Saraland Church, its leadership, its mission, and its people, and to act with delegated authority appropriate to this office.

Such authority is conferred, not symbolically, but in truth, for the faithful execution of the responsibilities entrusted to him. This commission is granted with the expectation that it be carried with humility, exercised with wisdom, and stewarded with integrity to protect the vision of the church as set forth by the senior pastor and for the unity, health, and expansion of Saraland Church. By the authority entrusted to me, you are hereby commissioned.” God bless y’all. I love y’all a ton. Thank you so much. God bless you. Give them a big hand as they make their way back to their seats this morning.

They’re going to be in the foyer after church, and I want you to go and introduce yourself and give them a chance to learn your name. Okay, that’s a big thing with pastoral ministry. Give them a chance to learn your name. Say, “I’ll do that.” Everybody shout your name real quick. You got them? Okay, perfect. Amen. Well, Pastor John is not only going to be helping with the Neighbor Box, which is launching in August or in the fall, but Pastor John’s also going to be helping with a few other ministries. The next one I want you to be aware of is a new prayer ministry.

We are going to be incorporating into our Sunday morning services an opportunity for you to come forward and receive prayer every Sunday morning. Now, this is something that I have wanted to do since I got here, but I do want to just let everybody know that as much as I’m doing on a Sunday, I had to choose three things that I could get done on a Sunday. And I have to do worship. I have to preach. And my other third is that I would shake your hand and look you in the face every Sunday morning. And that’s what I had to choose. But I can only be in so many places.

So starting soon, we’re going to have a prayer ministry every Sunday. And the way we envision it is we will start the worship service. And about halfway through us singing and giving the Lord great glory and honor and praise, we’ll give an invitation for people to come forward who need prayer. And we’ll pray for you right there in the worship service at this altar. Now, when is this starting? Starting Palm Sunday. What a good day. Amen. So that’s the Neighbor Box and then the prayer ministry. But there is another ministry that Pastor John is going to be stepping into and helping me with.

Every generation: Legacy Builders

And it involves our Believers Class that meets before Sundays every week and our senior adult ministry at large. Would you turn your attention to the screen?

Everybody in the house is remembered. Everybody in the house is remembered. And there will always be something in this house, even though we will be very focused on the next generation. I always want to make sure that we have something here at Saraland Church that ministers to every generation. Every Sunday morning, a faithful group of senior adults meet in the Believers Class. For years, it’s been a place of friendship, faith, and consistency.

A place to grow, learn, and walk together. And that foundation still matters. But as we’ve looked ahead, we realize this season deserves a name that reflects not just what we believe, but what we’re building. Because this group isn’t winding down. It’s leaning in. But now it’s time for a change. Because believing was never meant to stop at meeting. It was meant to move into ministry and carry meaning. That’s why the Believers Class is becoming Legacy Builders. A name that honors experience, values wisdom, and recognizes the influence this generation still carries.

Same people, same Sunday morning gathering, same heart, just a clearer vision for the future. Welcome to Legacy Builders.

Come on, give our Legacy Builders a big hand this morning. No, no, no. These are people who we are building on the foundation of what they’ve started here. You should stand to your feet and give them a hand clap of appreciation this morning. Come on. I’m talking about people like Miss Lois and Miss Gina and Miss Betty and people who have got tears and faith down in the soil of this property. Amen. You may be seated. Good. Man alive. Now I’m excited about some of the stuff I’m about to share with y’all because that ain’t it.

It ain’t just a name change. Amen. Because when I got here, there’s just a group of people that I love. And I just love the people who have carried the legacy of the church for generations. And we opened up talking about [a former pastor] and [a former pastor], and sometimes it’s easy when we talk about legacy to think that a church is the legacy of [a former pastor] or the legacy of [a former pastor]. But there are people sitting in this room right now, many of them who meet in that class every Sunday morning before our service, that they in fact were with [a former pastor].

They were with [a former pastor] from the beginning. Miss Betty was here since she was just a little thing and was through all of [a former pastor]’s tenure here at the church. And so we have people in our church that are worthy not of just honor but of double honor. Can I get a good amen in the house? So what we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be making a shift with the Believers Class to Legacy Builders because in this season we’re building. Everybody shout, “We’re building.” And legacy isn’t just something that has been built, it’s something that’s being built.

And it’s not a noun, it’s a verb. We’re talking about Legacy Builders, and the people in that class are legacy builders as they have been for generations now. And so Pastor John’s going to be stepping in and taking over that Sunday morning experience because in this season we’re taking the Legacy Builders to a whole nother level. We’re not just doing — now listen, hang on — we’re not just changing the name. You’re not just getting a new pastor. I’m about to give you a whole brand new space. This is something I’ve been wanting to do since we got here. I’m talking about renovating that classroom where you get to come in and get the VIP treatment every Sunday.

Come on. So we’re going to have coffee in there, donuts. We’re going to put comfortable couches and chairs in that room so you can come in and experience community and the word together. We’re going to get them church chairs out of there. Amen. So you can come in and actually have an experience together. And one of the things that I have been testing out on y’all, and y’all didn’t know I was running the test on y’all, but y’all have been my guinea pigs for about a month now. When y’all have been coming in, I’ve been playing some old-school Gaither Homecoming music.

I wanted to see if y’all would like it. I had a good feeling you would. And so we’ve been playing that music to see if you’d like it because I was making a decision on whether or not I was going to put a new big TV in there where y’all might be able to open up and sing a couple of those songs before we ever get started with the teaching. So we’re excited about this. Now, this is the thing. Okay. So all of it — Legacy Builders, look at me. I need you to lean in for a minute. Okay. I need you to know this. You’re not going to meet for the next three weeks because the renovation is starting this week.

We’re painting and fixing lights and doing all that stuff. Oh, it’s going to be awesome. So Legacy Builders is set to start on March 1st. Amen. Come on, give our Legacy Builders a big hand clap this morning. Amen.

Beyond our walls: missions and translation

Now we’re also a church that doesn’t just believe in ministry that’s happening here. We believe in sowing seed in places that aren’t even ministries we’re connected with physically. And I can’t think of anywhere that is less here than Kenya, Africa. Check this out.

My name is Brad Smith and I am the co-founder and USA director for the Kilimanjaro School of Missions. So my role at Kilimanjaro School of Missions is that of a student advisor, a fundraising coordinator, and an adjunct professor. Located in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro School of Missions is located in Kimana, Kenya. It is a direct partnership with the Kenya Assemblies of God, where we’re training young indigenous Spirit-filled ministers who feel the call to global missions, training them in a one-year program so they can be launched into the Muslim-dominated areas of Africa. After our students graduate their one year of training, we hand them back to the national church as a certified candidate for missions.

From that point, they’re responsible for raising their own support. And then they’re sent out by the national church into the unreached areas of Africa, like South Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, and some of the other nations of the world where Christianity is less and the gospel has not been named. The vision behind Kilimanjaro School of Missions is to partner with the national church in a completely indigenous project. We believe that the Western church owes a responsibility to raise up the national people to be missionaries themselves, to their own people, and to their surrounding nations.

Our process in this one-year program is to sponsor a student, which is roughly around 3,500 U.S. dollars, which includes all of the room and board, all of their educational material, so that they can focus on this one year of their own personal fundraising and education while we’re equipping them to reach the nations. So annually, we’re looking at accommodating 12 students. We want to keep it to a very small group. The $3,500 tuition per student covers their room and board, their tuition fees, all of their school materials, and their internship program, which is their three months of being out doing ministry.

With your help, Kilimanjaro School of Missions is training missionaries to take the gospel to the unreached parts of Africa. Thank you so much in advance for your prayer and your support.

So for just $3,500 a year, one of those 12 Kenyan missionaries that he mentioned will be able to be trained and sent into regions around Kenya for gospel ministry in Muslim-dominated areas. And so I thought $3,500 ain’t no thing. So we’re going to give one of those students annually a full-ride scholarship to the Kilimanjaro School of Missions. Amen. Now in addition to this, in terms of our missions giving, something that we’re doing today is we have been every week when we have people fill out these connect cards, because all you got to do is show up one time at our church to make a difference in the world.

And every week when people fill out this connect card, we feed a child for one month. We started with one week and we upped it to one month about halfway through. Amen. And we do this through Convoy of Hope, but starting today, we are going to be as a church feeding 30 children every single day from here on out. Amen. Now we have another missions project that we’re going to be doing, which involves a little more of what we do in the service. It has the potential to reach globally, but it also helps us locally. And that — I talked to you a few weeks ago, probably a few months ago now, about translating our services into other languages, something that we’re able to do through the power of artificial intelligence.

It’s really incredible, this technology. And so what we’re going to start doing very soon is translating in real time our services into other languages. So people in our area who do not speak English as a native language will be able to come hear the gospel, receive the gospel, and give their life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. In addition to that, we’re going to be taking the online broadcast of these services and translating them into other languages that we post online for those people in our area to access. But this has the potential to be global. Now, if you’re sitting there going, “I don’t understand any of what you’re talking about.”

Last week, I preached a message out of Acts chapter 2, and I talked about how people in the upper room began to speak in tongues. And then there were people on the ground who started interpreting it in their own language. Well, last week’s message was a really good message to demonstrate this technology on. So take a look at this.

It’s not necessarily for everyone, but the ability to pray in an unknown tongue. Now, he’s a preacher. I’m a preacher. And he was at a preacher meeting. We call it district council. It’s our state. I’m the one screaming the interpretation.

So coming very soon, we’re going to be translating all of our messages into Spanish, which we believe will be the most in demand in the area. And then we’ll also be translating into a language called Afrikaans, which is a language in South Africa. And we actually have some native Afrikaans speakers in our church. And so we’re going to be translating our messages where they can share it with their family. And we’ll just get us a little campus going over there in South Africa. Amen. Come on, somebody. So we’re excited about that. Now, one really cool thing about this is I translated a video of me speaking into Japanese and sent it to someone who I know in Japan.

And he wrote me back and he said, “The craziest thing about it is it sounds like you speaking Japanese.” So it’s not only translating the message, it’s cloning my voice. So we’re going to get to sound — or get to find out — what it sounds like to speak Spanish with a Southern accent. Amen. That’s going to be good. I’m from South Mexico. Bless God. Hallelujah. And so the process for this is we’ll start with AI. And if we see great success, we’ll hire on a team member to pastor people in our area. And you never know, a year from now, we could have a full Spanish-speaking congregation right here in this church.

Come on, somebody. Amen. So online translation, the broadcast, that’s going to start this summer. And then the live translation of our services that will happen in real time using people’s phones will also happen this summer. Amen. Come on, give the Lord a praise.

With purpose: baptism and Wednesday nights

Well, in the Assemblies of God, we hold to two ordinances of the church. One of them is communion, the Lord’s Supper. The other is water baptism. I want to talk to you about water baptism for just a moment. When I got here — if y’all have ever wondered what the first directive I gave as the pastor of this church was.

When I got here, we had a Coleman blow-up hot tub over here that we were baptizing people in. Now people do stuff like this in other churches. I’ve never seen the Coleman hot tub particularly, but people use feeding troughs and stuff. And so the first thing I said was, I need the Coleman baptismal out of the room. I need that thing to go. And it’s hiding in the back still. I haven’t gotten rid of it just in case we need it for spontaneous baptismals. Or if you’re just cold today, I guess we could turn that thing on and you could just sit in there while I’m preaching.

Amen. But I really believe that when people walk through the obedience to the scripture of water baptism, it ought to be a sacred, special moment. How many of you were baptized in this baptismal? I’m just curious. Wave at me if you were. That’s special. Obviously that thing is done. It’s gone. It’s covered up. There’s more going on behind that screen than you see. It’s done. But I know I was the first person baptized in my home church when they built the building. I was the first person baptized in the new building. That’s why I’m so anointed. Amen. And so I believe that when people are baptized in water, it ought to be a special experience.

So we are going to commission a new baptismal very soon. And I want to share that with you real quick. Would you like to see it? This is what it’s going to look like. That’s going to be our new baptismal. It’s still portable, but it stands all the way up. It’s easy to get in. There’s a seat inside of it. So people don’t have to get down on the ground. And it’s got that splash pad in front of it. As a leader in the church, I’m most impressed with the splash pad. Amen. That’s the part I like. And so that’s going to be a great opportunity. We’ll be able to set that up, keep it up.

We can still use it outside. We can use it inside. It’s got a heater so the water stays warm. Come on, somebody. Some of y’all look like I’ve been baptized. That’s not my problem. But no, so it’s going to have a heater. It’s going to be great. And so our first water baptisms that we’re going to do this year and in the new water baptismal are going to happen on April 12, 2026, the week after Easter. So people can get saved and then they can get baptized. Amen. Oh man. All right. So moving on, I want to talk to you for just a moment about Wednesday nights.

I’ll talk to you about Wednesday nights. I know the question gets thrown around about Wednesday night service. And I want to talk to you about it for a moment. First of all, I want you to hear this. I am about having more than Sunday morning services. I had a whole career built around people having more than Sunday morning services. If people would have only done Sunday morning, I could not have traveled as an evangelist. I believe in those other services. In fact, I’ll even tell you this, the way I came into the church, I followed a reverse order. Most of y’all started on Sunday morning because you aren’t as sanctified as your preacher.

Amen. I started on a Thursday night Bible study, went to Wednesday night church, then Sunday night church, then Sunday morning. Amen. So I believe in this stuff. I need you to hear that. Here is the reality. Our church is in a unique position right now. I would love to tell you that we are well-equipped, well-funded, have more people than we need. All those things would be lies. We are limited in what we can do. And I was going to share this with you today on the screen, but I’m just going to explain it to you real quick. If you turn to the end of 1 Corinthians chapter 16, it says in there — Paul is talking about visiting the Corinthians.

And he says, there are two options we have. I’m paraphrasing, by the way, though sometimes don’t you wish the Bible was written that way. There’s two options you have — but there’s two options we have. “I can either come see you today and I can only be there for a little while, or I can come to you later and I can spend a considerable amount of time with you.” And Paul says, because I want to spend time with you, I’m going to come later. I could start Wednesday night services right now. I have the power and the authority to right now start Wednesday night services.

Here’s the problem. And everybody lean in, because those of y’all that are visiting this morning, we’re so glad to have you with us. We hope we have you back 200 more times in Jesus’ name, but you’re about to find out how honest I preach here because I just felt it come on me. Here’s the reality. Everybody lean in and listen. I could start Wednesday night this week. It would fail. And the reason is it was already failing. We were keeping something on life support that was dying. We would have church on Wednesday nights and about 10 minutes in all my children’s workers would walk into the service because nobody was bringing their children.

Some nights we would have one child showing up and we didn’t know if that was better or worse than having no children show up. It wasn’t working. It was just something we were doing and keeping it alive. I don’t do stuff just to do it. When I do something, it’s going to be done with purpose. It’s going to be done with excellence and we’re going to see fruit come out of it. Somebody ought to shout amen right there. So Wednesday nights are going to happen, but they are going to happen starting August 12th. This is why August 12th: I can’t get Wednesday nights to work right now.

I’m looking at my schedule. I’m looking at the calendar. I think I can have Wednesday nights probably kicking end of April, but by the time I’m at the end of April, I’m looking at summer. So we’re starting right before we have major interruption. So what we’re going to do is we’re just going to take the next several months. We’ll get to August and that is the week after school starts. Give people a week to get used to their schedule and then Wednesday nights are back on like Donkey Kong, as the apostle Paul said. Amen. Now we’re excited about this because it’s going to be a powerful time of ministry in the week.

That being said, I know some of you need a little more than just Sunday morning. I told you last week I was preaching on the baptism of the Holy Spirit — I was preaching on speaking in tongues. If you’ve ever wondered about that and you’ve never heard anybody preach on it, go check out the message from last week, and eventually you can check it out in Spanish. Amen. And so I told you that you would have an opportunity to receive before that series is over. We’ve been in a series called We’re Openly Spirit-Filled. I told you you’d have an opportunity.

And so I just want to let you know, mark your calendars on March 8th. We are having a Sunday night revival service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Billy James right here at Saraland Church. That’s a good place to give the Lord a praise. And so that morning I’m going to preach on how to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And then that Sunday night, Pastor Billy James is going to come in here and lay hands on you. And you’re going to take everything I taught into that evening and you’re going to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Amen. And also, if you didn’t know this, Billy James is the better looking brother of Ray James.

Amen. So wave at everybody, Ray, so they can know they need an A and B comparison. Hallelujah. Well, I told y’all Wednesday night wasn’t going to happen for another few months. And y’all just — all of y’all got quiet on me. At least the ones of y’all that didn’t come anyway ought to still be giving me some energy. Amen. Look at your neighbor. Say, “Get over it. You’ll be fine.” Hallelujah. He’s heard from the Lord. Amen. All right. Everybody, everybody give the Lord a shout of praise real quick. Just turn it around. Yeah. All right. Okay. So from there, we do have a major announcement for you.

The next generation

This is a major announcement. We are making some changes in our children’s ministry. Starting in March, we are moving Miss Tiffany out of our elementary school ministry room, and we’re moving her to the pre-K room. Let me just tell you something. When I came to this church, we had a children’s pastor at the worst time essentially just abandon this ministry, and it hit us hard on transition in. And we have been struggling to get children’s ministry to survive since I have been here. But Miss Tiffany stepped in and became a lifeline to me and Ashleigh.

And she has held that thing together for us. And I think it would be worth giving her a good hand clap of appreciation this morning. Amen. But we believe it’s time to take our children’s ministry experience to the next level. Everybody say the next level. The next level. So this morning we are going to be announcing a new elementary kids ministry coordinator. This is someone who is well-qualified. She has both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in early childhood education. She is well-qualified. And when we told her that we were interested in her stepping into the role, she absolutely lit up, and I leaned over to Ashleigh and I said, I have not seen children’s pastors get this excited about ministering to kids.

I believe this is a God-ordained moment. I sense the hand of the Lord on it. At first I was just glad to have it. It’s solved administratively. And the longer I’ve gone, the more I’ve just felt the Holy Ghost has touched this. And I think it’s going to be something bigger than we even think it’s going to be. So would you put your hands together and welcome our new elementary kids ministry coordinator, Miss Hannah and Mr. Hunter Jednat, this morning. Hallelujah. Man, I’m so excited about this. I really am. I’m going to tell you something. These guys right here are — these are top-rated people.

I want you to just look right here. Look at the two of them real quick. I’m going to make y’all feel real comfortable here. Let me step down. I want you to look at the future of this church. I just see hundreds of that all over the place. Amen. I’m telling you, God is about to use y’all in such an incredible way. Now, Miss Hannah is going to be stepping into the role and Mr. Hunter is going to be helping her with all the tech stuff. And if y’all got bad kids, he’ll just put a foot on their chest and keep them calm through that. I’m kidding. We would not do that to your children.

We’d do it to your teenagers, but not your children. Amen. Some of these are jokes, folks. You just got to laugh out of courtesy. I don’t know what to tell you. Amen. They didn’t hire me to be a comedian. I’m here to preach the word and I’m not even getting to do that this morning. Amen. But we’re so excited about having the two of you up there. I mean, I really believe we’re about to see something explosive happen in our church right now. We have started getting all of our construction updates underway in both spaces. And so by the time you guys step in, which is going to be March 1st, because they’ve got to hammer out a vacation.

‘Cause I told him, I said, now y’all know he ain’t never missing no weekends ever again. So they’re hammering out a vacation, but they’re also visiting some other churches that have children’s ministries that we’d like to take some things from. They’re going to be starting a brand new curriculum, but March 1st, they’re going to start. And I’m telling you, I think it’s going to go to a whole nother level. And I think God’s about to do something incredible in the lives for both of you. I really do. I felt the word of the Lord that in teaching children in school, you have impacted children for their lifetime, but here you will impact children for their eternal life.

And it’s going to be a powerful moment. I do want to commission you here in front of the church. We have some Bibles for you. I’ve written handwritten notes in there for each of you. We believe God’s going to do a great work in your life. “Be it known that on this first day of February, 2026, I do hereby formally commission Mrs. Hannah Jednat as a director of ministry for Saraland Church, both extraordinary and plenipotentiary. By this commission, she is authorized to lead, represent, and advance the ministry entrusted to her on behalf of Saraland Church and to act with delegated authority appropriate to this role.

Such authority is conferred, not symbolically, but in truth, for the faithful execution of the responsibilities assigned to her. This commission is granted with the expectation that it be carried with humility, exercised with wisdom, and stewarded with integrity to protect the vision of the church as set forth by the senior pastor and for the unity, health, and expansion of Saraland Church. By the authority entrusted in me, you are hereby commissioned.” Amen. God bless you. God bless y’all. I’m going to send them back to their seats. Give them a great big hand clap this morning.

Amen. And I’m going to tell you something. We haven’t just got someone who’s educated on paper, but last year she was named one of Saraland City Schools Teachers of the Year. Amen. So, we’ve got the goods here. Amen. We’re excited.

On this rock: the property and the vision

So, I was on the phone with [a former pastor] this week, and we were talking about this service and some of the things that we’re doing. I’ve wanted him to be aware of all the things happening. He was telling me about [a former pastor]’s Bible, which is actually down in the foundation here. Now, I already knew it was down in the foundation, so I get to preach on the foundation that [a former pastor] laid.

He laid a foundation on the Word, built the first building. Then [a former pastor] built the second building. So, I get to stand on [a former pastor]’s revelation and [a former pastor]’s concrete. Amen. Every Sunday. But he told me something I’d never heard before. He had not told me this up to this point, that the Bible is actually open to Matthew chapter 16 verse 18, and the phrase is underlined that says, “On this rock I will build my church.” Amen. I am grateful for this property. I am very grateful for this property. It is one of the key benefits of what we have here in Saraland.

We have 20 acres of what has the potential to be a gospel epicenter for this region. However, I will say this. As grateful as I am for it, it is our responsibility to care for the property and to leverage it for the gospel’s sake. Amen. And so, this morning, as [a former pastor] made known when he built this building, that the church will be built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and the gospel. We are building. We’re still building. The building might be here, but we’re not done building. We’re still building. We’re still building. We’re building a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church for all people.

And I believe it’s time for us to take our facilities to the next level. Everybody say the next level. All right. Turn your attention to the screens.

Hi, friends. This is Jason Mayfield standing out in the front of our property right here at 907 Shelton Beach Road. You know, one of the greatest assets that we have as an organization is this fantastic property, this 20 acres right off of Shelton Beach Road. And today, I want to take a moment for us to look forward to what the future of this property could look like. So, the first thing the community sees, whether they’re coming to our church or coming by our church, is our church sign.

And when I got here, we had to put these temporary banners on the church sign so we could communicate correct information to the city. But I think we can do better than banners. And you’re going to find that throughout this tour, you’re going to see a lot of kind of an industrial, modern farmhouse with a tropical twist. And I want to show you our first artist’s rendering of a potential future. Take a look at the sign to be. So, as we move further into our church property, one of the things I would really love to do in the future is to remove all of this grass area here and turn this into front parking.

So, we would have a larger parking lot on the front of the building. Now, I’m aware that our parking lot needs attention. But remember, everything we’re showing is a potential future. So, in the future, we could remove all of this and add parking in front of our building. But as we get closer to the building, I want to talk to you about an enhanced first experience, an enhanced arrival experience, if you will. So, right now, the front of our church is pretty bare. I think we could add some landscaping that would make a big impact on people. But what if we completely redesigned the arrival experience altogether?

So, one of the things that we’d like to do is take all of these existing walkways and extend them out where we have a larger concrete patio area where we can meet together, have events where small groups can get together and enjoy outdoor space as they grow in their knowledge of the word and deeper in their relationships with each other. So, imagine all of this becoming a patio area. And then, as we move over here into what could be the future courtyard. Right now, I’m not really even sure what to call this area, but it could be a future courtyard where we add in a pergola here and maybe even remove this grass and put in turf so kids can come out and play before, after services, during the week, whenever.

And one of my pet projects that I want us to work on is covering up these air conditioning units. That’s right, we want to build a little small wall here where we still have access, but where you don’t see the ACs as you come up. So, as we come over to this current covered drop-off area, we want to extend the patio here. So, this, instead of being a drive-through, it actually becomes covered patio area. So, our foyer can literally go right out into the outdoors. Now, we still want you to be able to get dropped off if it’s raining or if there’s something going on with weather.

And so, we’re going to add a canopy-type front to this area right here so you can drop off or be dropped off right into the lobby here. And so, right here where my car is sitting. So, folks, I’m sacrificing — I’m giving up this premium parking for this idea. We’re going to continue the patio space right in front of these current office areas so we can have more cafe seating and more meeting area outdoors. Now, let’s move inside. Now, as we move into the foyer area here, one of the issues that we have right now is this area of the church does not get a lot of natural light and it can feel a little dark and a little small.

So, what we want to do is come in, brighten the walls, paint the ceilings white so this whole area becomes naturally lighter and brighter. Add some natural wood treatment to the wall so you get some of that natural texture in the foyer, and take the lighting — instead of having it go this way connected to the beam, have it going this way, recessed up into the beams. That way the light is not sitting right on top of us. And I think when you walk in with that kind of environment, it’s going to feel much more energetic and it’s going to feel a lot bigger. But what’s better than feeling bigger is actually making it bigger.

And over here, we have our offices down this door and we have our nursery down this door. And we believe we can transform this space if we remove the offices. So, imagine the offices go away. The first thing that we can do is extend this four and a half foot hallway all the way to this beam. And now our nursery hallway is 10 foot wide. That means we can get more than one person in there at a time. And if we remove the offices, we’ll be able to extend this foyer back quite a bit. Now, let me prepare you. This area is a work zone and so it looks like a work zone.

But come with me so we can tear out all of these offices and extend the foyer all the way up until about this hallway. That means that this will become the new kids check-in area with their own door to enter for kids check-in. That means we could put parking here exclusively for parents with young children and really take care of the next generation. Now, once we do that, we can wall this area off. And since we’re taking the offices out, we can take all of these offices out as well and build in a brand new elementary kids worship space. So, no longer will our children be separated with some kids upstairs and some kids downstairs.

This whole space now houses our entire children’s ministry. Now, it would be a shame to do all of this work and ignore our restrooms. Now, I’m not going to go in there, but our restrooms are a little small. They’re a little dated and we believe we could go in here and create a brand new restroom experience. Now, you probably noticed I haven’t said much about our current nursery area or current children’s area. And that is because improvements to these areas are currently underway. As we film this video, there are roofers here repairing leaks that are happening in our children’s areas.

And we’ve had air conditioners fixed in the children’s areas. And we have lighting samples that just came in so we can see what kind of lights we want to replace the fluorescent lights with. And we have brand new televisions that have already been delivered to go into these areas. We’re picking out paint samples. Actually, we’ve picked out the paint. We’ve got to get the paint. We’re going to start painting. These areas are going to start seeing major improvement over the next few weeks. But we have one more space we’ve got to talk about, and that is the auditorium, the sanctuary.

So, as we enter into the auditorium here, I want you to imagine a lighter atmosphere, a little bit brighter of an atmosphere in the sanctuary with dark ceilings that hide all of the technology that’s happening up in the ceiling. Imagine with me that we come in and we replace this sound system so every seat in the house gets a balanced music and preaching experience. On top of a new sound system, we can also add new lighting to this room that enhances the worship experience. And not only the lighting, but a brand new brighter projection screen that goes floor to ceiling so we can play videos that are large enough and bright enough for everyone in the room to see the details.

Not to mention, see the notes when the preaching’s happening, to see the lyrics when the music’s happening. A brand new experience. Now, one of the things I really like is adding in curtains along the back wall here. I believe it makes it feel a little bit more cozy and a little bit more like a church than it might currently feel like right now. Now, there is one major thing in this room that I’m interested in, and it’s actually where I’m standing right now. So, you’ve probably seen this tape all over the floor up here near the stage, and if you’ve wondered what this is, I’m going to tell you about it right now.

This is the future layout of our stage. This is a stage expansion that we want to do. It’s a little different than what you’ve seen in the artist renderings, but if you look at these small strips right here, these are stairs. Stairs to walk up, and then we have stairs on the sides, and we also have this area, which is actually a kneeling area. So, this is an area you can kneel at that isn’t stairs. It’ll just be a box. And, you know, stairs on the front of a church stage are more than stairs, though. We don’t have any stairs going up to the stage right now, and I’m grateful for the stairs feature, but stairs on the front of a church stage are more than stairs.

They have a tendency to morph somewhere between the first worship song and the closing prayer of a service from stairs into an altar. In fact, I’ve told people for years that it was at the front of a stage on two square foot of carpet that I got right with the Lord. In fact, God met me on it, just a two square foot piece of carpet in my local church, and I believe these stairs on the brand new stage are going to be more than just stairs. I think they’re going to be more than something that adds space to the platform for drums or additional production. These are the places that will become an altar throughout the preaching of the gospel where some of your family is going to get right with the Lord.

Maybe a son or a daughter is going to do business with God down here on two square foot of carpet. Maybe your grandchildren, maybe that co-worker you’ve been praying for, they’re going to come to Saraland Church and right in this area on these very steps. In fact, I mean, I can still tell you that in my home church it was this step right here. This is the step in my home church where I got right with the Lord. I believe your family is going to get right with the Lord on these stairs. So when does the project start? Well, not today, I can tell you that.

Write the vision: faith that functions in lack

Folks, this is a major capital campaign what I’ve just shown you. In fact, I don’t have any official estimates on what this would cost, but just in my experience we’re probably looking at a minimum of about 1.5 million dollars in capital improvements. So why even talk about this today? Because I certainly do not have 1.5 million dollars at my disposal. But I do know one who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and 1.5 million dollars is nothing to him. You know, this is the playbook that the prophet Habakkuk laid out for us in Habakkuk chapter 2. The prophet Habakkuk shows us that we write the vision, we make it plain, so we figure out where we’re headed.

That’s the first part of the game plan. What could the potential future look like here at Saraland Church? That’s what we’re doing today. But he goes on and tells us don’t get discouraged, because the vision hastens to the end. Even though it feels like, hey, this is great to see an artist rendering, but could we really do any of that? Yes, we could absolutely do that, because the first step in that process is casting the vision. Here’s what I know is that this property off of Shelton Beach Road, this 20 acres that God gave our church to reach this region, to reach Mobile County with the gospel, I know that it is full of potential.

But my friend, it’s up to you and to me to draw that potential out. Y’all didn’t know you were going to such a good-looking church, did you? Amen. There’s a lot of potential here. Like I said there, it’s our job to draw it out. I mentioned that we’re not doing a special offering today. We’re not starting a project today. That is no joke, and I wouldn’t be shocked. Contractors have a way of letting you know that you were wrong about them estimates. Amen. So I said 1.5, it might be 2.2. I’m blaming you for that. Amen. Taking it up to 2.2 million right here in the service.

Raise a contractor if you need your bathroom redone. Amen. And no, I’m serious. $1.5 million, that’s a crazy number for a church like ours and our situation, our condition right now. Every dollar that comes in is making stuff happen around here. So to spend money on other stuff, man, that’s kind of wild. And any reasonable person would say, why are you looking at doing that? Why are you even looking at it? Well, I want to tell you just a little bit about David and Goliath for a moment. I’m sure everybody in here is familiar with the story. If you’re not, there’s a little boy named David and he’s not in the army, but he’s been called by a prophet to be the king of Israel.

And he goes out one day to deliver lunch to his older brothers who are in the army. And he gets there and it turns out there’s been this giant. He’s about 10 foot tall. That’s how big Goliath was. There’s this giant who was taunting the armies of Israel. And every time they send a grown man out there, he whips them and embarrasses Israel, to the point that he’s standing out there day after day, and he’s just telling Israel what they can’t do. Well, I’m going to tell you right now, I’m just not real fond of what I can’t do. I’m not going to let the devil tell us what we can’t do.

Somebody ought to say amen right there. And so David shows up and he hears Goliath saying all this stuff. And he says, “Nobody gone out there to fight him?” And so David says, “I’ll do it.” David says, “I’ll go fight him.” He’s a little kid. And the word that this is about to happen reaches the king of Israel, King Saul. King Saul was a real tall man. David was a young boy. And King Saul says, well, if he’s going to go out there, let’s at least equip him. If we can’t stop him, let’s help him. And so he brings him into his tent and he says, “Put this armor on, and here’s a sword.”

Okay. Saul was a tall man. He was taller than — he stood a head above the normal male Israelite. And so Saul was putting extra-large armor on an extra-small person. And David goes, “I can’t go use this. I haven’t tested any of it. I don’t feel comfortable with it. I cannot use this.” And so he rejects the armor and he rejects the sword. If you were to turn back several chapters — because the story of David and Goliath is in 1 Samuel 17 — if you turn back a handful of chapters, you’ll find out that at the time of Saul’s reign, the Israelites were under Philistine opposition, or Philistine occupation.

And the Philistines had gone in and taken all of the swords that were in Israel out. And there were only two swords left, and they were symbolic. The two swords were: the first one was King Saul’s, and the second one was his son the Prince Jonathan’s. There were only two swords in all of Israel. And as David is about to go out here and take on Goliath, he rejects one of the swords. He says, “I’m not going to use this. I’m not going to use this sword.” Well, he gets out there to fight Goliath and Goliath challenges him, sends some insults his way. And somewhere between anger and the anointing, something rises up in David.

And I want to show you what it says here in 1 Samuel 17. This is what happens. This is what David says to Goliath: “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head.” How? There is no sword in Israel. He’s turned away one of the swords that is available. There is no resource for what he’s saying he’s going to do. But he says, “I’m going to cut off your head, and I’ll give it, to the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day, to the birds of the air and to the wild beast of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”

And verse 47 says, “And that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear, for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into my hand.” I have a couple of little things written in my Bible that stay there. I pulled them out this morning. This is a little confession. Oh, I’m going to die right here in front of everybody. Amen. This is a little confession that I have written that stays in my Bible out of this portion of scripture. It just says, “I don’t need a sword or resource because I serve a God who gives it into my hand.”

And then a note out of Luke of the same nature. It says this — these are from my Bible, folks. It says, “Faith isn’t operating in abundance.” That is good news for us as a church right now. Amen. So faith is not operating in abundance. It’s functioning in lack, like you have an abundance. The Lord spoke to me years ago — gosh, this was probably 15 years ago — and he said to me, he said, “Before it can manifest in the flesh, it must be birthed in the spirit.” There is something about seeing something that is not possible, because listen, there’s some stuff we can do.

There’s some stuff I can do. There’s some stuff you can do. But when we look beyond our capacity, it takes eyes of faith. It takes vision that comes from heaven, and you look beyond your capacity and that’s where God can kind of step in and do a great work. And I think this is out of the reasonable realm of possibility. But let me just tell you, there’s not a person sitting in this room that wouldn’t roll up on this property in three months and see everything I just showed you through sketches. If you saw it all here, you’d go, surely there’s a God in Israel, because there is no other way this could have been done.

I feel like preaching. I won’t. I’ll let you get to lunch here in a minute. Folks, right now is a moment where we look forward and we say, what can happen? I think there’s something about getting away from language about what we used to do and what we can’t do. We can talk about used-to’s all day long. We’re never building this building again. It’s here. It’s never happening again. We’re never going back to the way things used to be, to the things that have been done. Those things served us in a season. I was on the phone with [a former pastor] the other day. I mentioned that earlier, and I asked him something.

I asked him how he thought I should deal with something. For those of y’all that think I’m out here just shotgunning and willy-nilly, I do call some folks once in a blue moon and ask them what they think about stuff. I called him. I said, “What do you think I ought to do about this?” He stopped me on the phone. This was a real conversation, happened this week. He said, “I need you to understand something. I do not have the word of the Lord for that church. You have the word of the Lord for that church.” Because that season is over. We’ve moved into a new season.

We’re in a new place. We’re going to see some new things happen. We’re going to see some new people saved. In fact, I’m going to just tell you right now, and a lot of you are in the room and I hope that you will stay. I hope you’ll find a home here. I want to pastor you. I want to teach you. I want to develop your faith. I want to get you to a place in the Lord you could never imagine. But I’m going to tell you, church family, listen to me. I have heard — oh man, I feel the prophetic unction on me now. I should have just preached the message. I’d be done already. But I have heard from y’all about people coming back, people coming back, people coming back, people coming back, people coming back.

I’m all for people coming back, and if you can come back, come back. We want you back. If you ain’t been here and you want to come back, please come back. We’d love to have you back. Be back. But I’m not trying to get people back. There’s more lost people in this city than we can shake a stick at. God, give us the harvest. Give us the harvest. Give us the harvest. Somebody shout, “Give us the harvest.” Hallelujah. And so we’re looking forward through eyes of faith. We’re looking forward to what God can do, and we’re going to trust him and we’re going to believe him for a great move, a great work in this house.

Everything I showed you this morning, it’s kind of an idea of where we can head. Doesn’t mean we’re going to do it. Doesn’t mean those are the sink faucets we’re putting in. I don’t know if the bathroom’s going to be green. I don’t know if it’s going to be maroon. Well, I got to stay away from maroon and orange. I know that we can’t have a turf war here between the Alabama and Auburn fans. So it won’t be one of them. But I know we’re heading somewhere. I know this. I know that green bathroom made that bathroom look pretty bad. Amen. So I’ll take the green one if that’s all my choices are.

Amen. So we’re going to start looking forward. We’re going to believe God for a great harvest in this area and for God to do a great work. And part of it involves us taking care of what we already have. When God gives it into your hand and you neglect it, well, you deserve what you tolerate. You deserve. And so we’re not going to tolerate it anymore. We’re not going to tolerate trash on the floor. We’re not going to tolerate stained ceiling tiles. We’re not going to. We’re not going to. We’re going to start working and improving those areas of our church.

Amen. And I know some of y’all are going, you know, we didn’t go into this room over here. And I told some leaders in the church a few months ago, I said, until I’ve got about four pastors, I can’t go through them doors. Amen. That’s as far as I can go. Hallelujah. But we’re going to start here. Amen.

What the season requires

Everybody stand to your feet all across the room this morning. I mentioned to you that throughout the service, I believe the Holy Spirit was going to speak to you. And I want you to know these cards are not — they’re not binding. You’re not signing a contract.

We’re not using these for anything. I can’t take these to the bank or anything. That doesn’t do anything for us. I don’t even know if they do that anymore. To be honest with you, they used to do that. Have everybody fill out these cards and then bring it. We’ll tell you. So we’re not doing any of that, but today we’re just making a commitment to the Lord. We’re making a commitment to the Lord, because what it takes is it takes people getting involved. It takes us doing things that we’ve never done in ministry. How many of y’all have seen how often my car is in front of the church?

I know some of you live over here. You see how often my car is in front. Okay. That is not Jason Mayfield. I don’t do that. I’d work four hours a week and wave at people from Starbucks if I could. Amen. That’s fine with me. That’s not Jason Mayfield. That’s what the season requires. That’s what the season requires. Last year we gave — me and Ashleigh personally, I haven’t said this until now, but I think you need to hear it. We gave the largest single offering that was given in 2025. We came in and we wrote a large check to get this church repositioned out of our own personal wealth that did not come from ministry.

So we could make sure that this church did not start defaulting. And we put a large chunk of our personal wealth into the church, not to mention all the things that I’ve just kind of given throughout my time here. That being said, that’s not because we’re incredibly generous. It’s what the season requires. It’s what the season requires. And this season, if we’re going to really build, if we’re really building a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church, then we have to step up and do more than we’ve ever done before. Can I get a good amen from the church this morning?

So this is what I want to do. I want to invite everyone in the church, everyone in the church, to bring your card and to bring yourself up to the front of what will be the future altar right here. I don’t want anybody to cross this tape onto the stage because y’all can’t come on stage yet, but I want you to come up. Everybody in the church right now, let’s start making our way up to this future altar. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to lay these cards on the altar this morning, and I’m going to pray for everybody in the church. Now, I’m not going to go through and lay hands, but we’re going to have you lift your hands.

I’m going to pray a blessing over you in this. Come on, everybody come forward. These aren’t hard instructions. Everybody step forward. Amen. It’s going to be a quick and easy moment. Nobody’s falling down on the ground. You don’t have to be afraid. Amen. And if you have a card, I just want you to lay it on this altar this morning. Hallelujah. Now with every hand lifted, I’m going to pray a prayer blessing as we step into this season. We’ve commissioned several people this morning, and now we’re commissioning you as a builder in this house. Every hand lifted to heaven.

Father, we thank you for your faithfulness through the decades. God, we thank you for the legacy of men’s shoulders that we stand on today. Father, I thank you for the Legacy Builders who have been faithful in this house for decades, who have been building a legacy already and who are ready to step into the next season and continue building. Father, I thank you for every person in this church who is saying today is the day that I step up and see the gospel advanced in Saraland, Alabama. See the gospel advanced in North Mobile. See the gospel advanced in Mobile County.

Father, we declare today that we are building a headquarters to take ground for the kingdom in this region. And Father, every person who has made a commitment today, I ask that you would honor their faith and you would touch them in such a way that they would both be compelled and motivated. Father, that they would feel equipped and driven to fulfill that commitment. In Jesus’ mighty name. And the whole church said, amen. Come on, let’s end today with one good, big praise to the Lord. Give him a good praise. Hallelujah.
